To Break a Building Element

Identify the wall, profile, railing Structural member or
Mechanical duct, or pipe to break. Select the segment.
The selected segment highlights and directional arrows appear that move dynamically with the pointer.

Move the pointer in the direction where the break will form and
enter a data point to accept or reset to reject.
Generally, the dynamic directional arrows move left or right. The start point for the break is placed when the segment is identified and the end point for the break is placed when the break is accepted.
